What to include in an excavation quote request.
You do not need a finished plan to start the conversation. For a residential or commercial project in Warren County or southwest Ohio, these details help Embrace Contracting understand your site and the result you want.

1. Describe the finished result
Tell us what you want the space to do: support a shed, prepare for an above ground pool, replace a concrete driveway, hold a change in elevation, or address standing water. If several services are needed, include the whole project instead of sending separate requests.
2. Include a location and rough dimensions
Send the job address or city, approximate length and width, and any known height or depth. For a retaining wall, include the expected length and exposed height. For concrete work, describe the intended use and whether an existing surface needs removal. Estimates can be refined as the dimensions and conditions become clearer.
3. Show the site and the access
Our form accepts up to five JPG, PNG or WebP photos, each under 5 MB. A useful set includes a wide view of the work area, a closer view of the main concern, and the route equipment would use to enter the property. Include gates, fences, nearby structures and changes in elevation where relevant.
For a drainage request, photos showing where water gathers during or after rainfall help explain the problem. For demolition, show the structure or surface from more than one angle when possible.
4. Share project requirements and timing
If you have builder plans, manufacturer base requirements or a preferred material, mention them in the description. Tell us whether you are planning ahead or want to discuss the earliest available timing. Note any known access restrictions or existing utilities so coordination can be discussed.
5. Know what happens next
We review the request, discuss the scope and site conditions, and identify the next steps. A quote request does not commit you to work. Final pricing depends on the agreed scope, dimensions, access, soil conditions, materials and any removal or disposal involved.
